It's been snowing, hard and heavy for 3 or 4 days (time blurs in the Danger Zone). Everything is covered in four feet of snow. Wasn't able to get any signal due to severe atmospheric interference, that's why I haven't posted sooner.
Found shelter in an abandoned building before the storm started. Took precautions by heading to second floor and destroying the stairs behind me. (I know they say it's a myth, but I wanted to be safe.) There was a hearth in one of the upstairs rooms, so was able to find enough wood to burn to keep warm.
I am unsettled when I see the amount of tracks in the snow. Especially the many seemingly bipedal footprints. Going in and out of the building I'm in.
I'm going to sit here by the fire for a few minutes more before heading out. I crank the music up. Public Image Ltd. - The Order of Death. I sip my tea in deep thought.

The Danger Zone, some music and me.
Into the fog.
As I set out on foot, to explore the outer edge of the DZ (Danger Zone), I fire up my music. Grayceon - Still the Desert.
It's cold and early. Only my daughter, Katana, has shown up to see me off. The moment I step over the border, I turn to look back at her. She looks worried. I wave, give her the thumbs up, smile (although she can't see my face behind the filter mask) and turn back toward the DZ. I turn the music up louder. Then, forward, into the early morning fog of the Danger Zone.
